Bush's Brain flouts subpoena, leaves US without telling Congress. Karl Rove was scheduled to testify before the House Judiciary Committee yesterday. He didn't show. Not only that, the Committee was told that Rove had left the country on a "long scheduled" trip. In this video clip, Rep. Linda Sanchez explains that Rove never told them about any trip. attention all corporate media this is not news worthy. here look zombies, its jon benet and chandra........ |

Your glorious Loose Change Forum dictator...
|
What a joke, the guy defends him saying they shoulda scheduled it around Rove's agenda. Screw that, he's a criminal. Average criminals would not get that same "Oh he had a date tonight couldn't come to court" That doesn't cut it. Sickening. |

![]() You are wrong Arbor. It is A ( as in one ) truther. Personally I would like to see Mr. Rove and the rest waterboarded into confession, then tried using that testimony. Edit to add - http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=118519 - if anyone cares.

IS that what he said. i thought it was common knowledge that Rove was not going to testify claiming executive priviledge. I am just wondering what do you think Carl Rove's crime was.
Do you think he should get a trial first. What is he guilty of according to you. JFK are you being facetious or do you believe he should be waterboarded? |

Oh, please. Stop being an ass.
He shouldn't mind appearing in court if he's not guilty of anything. He claimed executive privilege. I don't if that'll hold water. Just have to wait and see. Is Karl Rove a hero of yours? |

I didn't pay a seat belt ticket(whatever that kind of law is))once and my "contempt of court" got me in jail for a Thanksgiving weekend. I suppose if I was farther away i never would have gotten busted untill later.... I'm going to ask to go before Congress next time I'm in trouble.... 1. They don't care if you show up - Karl Rove 2. They don't ask the right questions - B. Clinton,911 Ommish 3. They don't even care if you lie to their face - Rapheal Palmeiro |

![]() Umm Arbor, which part of my responce did you not understand ? Here let me quote myself for you.
emphasis added to relivant portion. Now, show me where I said he should be executed.
Should he be ? No. Those detainees should not have been waterboarded either. |

So you and I agree on the waterboarding issue.
did he say you said he should be executed? What do the people who have commented on this board believe Carl rove's crime was. Avenger I was not being an a@# that was a legitimate question. Karl rove is not a hero of mine nor do I hate him but I do not like the idea of his claiming executive priviledge. As for whether it will hold water time will tell. IF it ever gets to the Supreme Court I suspect it will because of the current makeup of the court. |

no one here said he should be hung before a trial, just that he should be hung. the trial part is a given. I do not personally support the death penalty, but that does not make the law any different. if it is according to the law of the USA that he be executed, and he is found guilty, the sentence should be carried out. i don't know why we have to spell everything out for these whack-jobs at J%%F. |

Please don't ban me.....it's a joke..... I find the quality at the JREF forums like a debutante at fleet week in New York, I find both their ideals as sincere and very hard to swallow. Edited by mynameis, Jul 15 2008, 02:25 PM.

Consider it refreshed. He lumped truthers together as one homogenous group much like look up does here. i try not to. It is a common practice here and there.
I am not naive enough to believe that although it is possible. |

New AP D.C. Bureau Chief to Karl Rove: “Keep up the fight” By: SilentPatriot on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 at 2:00 PM - PDT TPM picks up on this revealing gem from the House Oversight Committee’s report (.pdf) on Jessica Lynch and Pat Tillman: Karl Rove exchanged e-mails about Pat Tillman with Associated Press reporter Ron Fournier, under the subject line “H-E-R-O.” In response to Mr. Fournier’s e-mail, Mr. Rove asked, “How does our country continue to produce men and women like this,” to which Mr. Fournier replied, “The Lord creates men and women like this all over the world. But only the great and free countries allow them to flourish. Keep up the fight.” Although immediate requests for comment from Fournier, who is now the AP’s acting Washington D.C. bureau chief, were not returned, a later AP article on the matter gets him on the record: “I was an AP political reporter at the time of the 2004 e-mail exchange, and was interacting with a source, a top aide to the president, in the course of following an important and compelling story. I regret the breezy nature of the correspondence.” It would be interesting to go back to the time this email was written to see just how (un)critically Fournier’s reporting of the Iraq War was. If anyone comes across something, by all means feel free to leave comments. http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/07/15/new-ap-dc-bureau-chief-to-karl-rove-keep-up-the-fight/ |

I don't know about torture and blackmail but illegal war, the FISA Blackmail bill, the Patriot Act I, and II are not treasonable offenses. They were all voted on and passed by the congress. I don't agree with most of them and certainly do not know all parts of them but worthy of being hanged not in my book. The Opening statement was Koward Karl flees the country. He didn't go on vacation because of any of these things. He did not flee the country to avoid prosecution for something. He had a subpeona to appear before congress (not a criminal hearing) to testify about allegations of political pressure at the Justice Department, including whether he influenced the prosecution of a former Democratic governor of Alabama. |

One person mentioned hanging and it means every person who is suspicious about 9/11 thinks Carl Rove should be killed without trial? The logic behind that claim is absurd. For a start, there was no mention of a trial. Secondly, someone's opinion on the death penalty is separate from their opinion on Carl Rove, which are both separate from their opinion on 9/11. It's the same as finding a person on the JREF forum who says teens who make videos of themselves beating people should be cut into little pieces, and then claiming that all people who believe the official account of 9/11 want to cut teenagers up into little pieces. All JREFers make sweeping generalisations.

I have really never seen anyone at that forum stick up for us and represent us accurately. I will call it how I see it. The difference is that I am not twisting anything said by a J**Fer, but they take pride in twisting everything we say. The standards are quite different. |

Do these acts/laws amend the Constitution or circumvent it? They are treason by the very definition of the word. Anyone who votes for any of these is a traitor. |
